Records audio but no playback

On a PowerPoint slide i record audio, but when I play it back, no audio comes out.

Hi,

Before recording, please make sure to turn the record Audio option on (in the Record Video Project dialog > click Audio) then click the drop-down arrow and select suitable input devices/system audio.

Kindly note that you should not plug/unplug any device while recording since ActivePresenter can not detect the changes in the active audio output device.
After finishing the recording, there will be a waveform in the Timeline pane to show your recorded audio.
If you perform the steps above but there is no audio, kindly send us the log file of ActivePresenter to support@atomisystems.com so we can check?
To view the log:

In Start Page, click Preferences (the Gear icon)
Select Miscellaneous.
Click View Log.

Hi, I still can not get the recorded audio out. I see it has recorded in the timeline but no output on the speakers. As requested I compy the Log.

Hi,

Thank you for providing the ActivePresenter log file.
After recording, please take a look at the Timeline pane. If there is any audio waveform there, it means that the audio is recorded successfully. See the image below for details:

If there is no audio waveform and you cannot hear anything, I’m afraid that no audio is recorded.

Besides, kindly update the latest version of ActivePresenter to get better experiences with many new features and enhancements. Just go to the Help tab > and select Check Updates.
