I’m really, really not happy that this has kept happening with SUCH critical livestreams that I’m trying to record here.
It just keeps failing all the time.
It will cut off early, with a failure (unknown)… or… if I end the recording, and am saving it, it fails to save and has a meltdown and freezes/crashes on me and it loses everything.
I MUST have reliability from this program. I need to record sometimes up to 4hrs in livestream teachings, yet after even 2hrs, it fails.
I need an urgent reply to fix this issue please.
I have daily teachings like this which need to be recorded.
ActivePresenter is designed for creating training videos and interactive eLearning content, so it is not well-tested for very long recording sessions. If you need to record video around 1 hours or more, OBS at https://obsproject.com/ seems to be appropriate.
Anyway, please share the log of ActivePresenter, so we can analyze the reason for the issue. To view the log, click ActivePresenter > Preferences > Miscellaneous > View Log.
It seems that your computer is running out of disk space or the drive has a problem but I am not sure which is the cause. You can select the H264 codec for encoding video to reduce the recorded size (you can find the steps at https://atomisystems.com/tutorials/ap7/working-recording-settings-dialog/).
