PC - Mac files compatibility?

Question:
Can approj files be used indistinctively on both operating systems?

Problem
I’m trying to edit a project on a Mac. The project was created in a PC, using same version of software on both.
When opening file, a message appears: “The file is password protected”, and asks for a password to open.

ActivePresenter Version: 6.1.4 on both machines

OS: Mac 10.12.6 and Windows 10

Notes:
Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

Yes, you should be able to open and work with ActivePresenter project files on both PC and Mac, no matter on where they’re created. There should be no difference.

I guess the project file may have been corrupted, please verify it again on the PC to make sure that it works before copying.
