No Audio after Exporting?

I have a very short video I made using the latest version Active Presenter. When viewing it in the software, I was able to hear the audio portion of the recording.

However, even with “Export Audio” checked, I am unable to hear the audio when exported to MP4. Please help!

You can upload to your cloud storage (Google Drive, Dropbox,…) and share the link to our support@atomisystems.com.
Or you can send email if the project file is small enough.

Any resolution? I am having a similar problem. I can hear the audio in Active Presenter, then when I export as a HTML 5 SCORM and upload it to the LMS, I can’t hear the audio.

Hi Liz,

Your problem seems to be different because it happens with the SCORM output. I’ve answered you via email but I paste the content here since others may have the similar problem.

Some browsers require user interaction to allow playing audio. You can find the similar thread about it at https://talk.atomisystems.com/t/no-sound-on-video-in-chrome/2082.

You can put a Start button into the first slide of your lesson to resolve the problem.

If it is not your case, please share the project and the output file so we can check.

It turned out to be a firewall rule that was blocking the audio.

hello there
seem to have the same problem, recorded a video, everything seems to be fine but after exporting into avi/mp4 theres no sound at all
any advice?

works just fine when i go to export -> video -> both avi/mp4 are ok

Hi Yeeq,

Exporting by right-clicking the video just export the selected video track (object) but not other sound tracks. It is aimed for extra editing by external tools. The correct way for publishing should be selecting Export > Video in the toolbar.

I solved this by:
Before exporting your video, first;

Select your audio from the timeline to display the audio properties
Then tick the the followings;
