New Audio - Speak misses first few words

When I create a new Audio - I enter my text in the Text To Speech box, when I click the Speak button it misses off the first few words e.g. I entered “Enter Brief Factual details of the incident” when I click Speak I only hear “Factual details of the incident” I’m not hearing the “Enter Brief” as audio?

I’m using Microsoft Hazel Desktop - English (Great Britain).

We checked and found nothing wrong.
Did the issue occur with only this voice or with other voices?

Besides, please send us the log file so that we can check again. To view the log:

  • In the Start Page, click Preferences (the Gear icon).
  • Select Miscellaneous.
  • Click View Log.

Hi Tom,

ActivePresenter uses Windows Text To Speech underlying engine. We checked this voice and found Windows has the same problem when using a Bluetooth speaker. Unfortunately, there is no way to fix it at the present.
Could you try using a normal speaker to see if it works?

Many thanks for investigating this issue and your prompt replies - very much appreciated. I guessed it was the delay with the Bluetooth headset once I saw the Log.
