Moving an object from the PC keyboard

Hi, everybody!
Question…
I wanted to know if with Active Presenter there is the possibility to move an object with the keyboard arrows. Thank you!

Hi Betty,

It is possible to move an object with the keyboard arrows in ActivePresenter.
You can press UP/DOWN ARROW to move an object up or down.
Likewise, press LEFT/RIGHT ARROW to move an object left or right.

In addition, you can press CTRL + ARROW to make your object move 10 times faster.

Best regards,
Thuy

Oh, I’m sorry, but maybe I misspoke… I didn’t want to move the objects during the creation phase of the project, but when the project is finished.
For example… making a mouse walk towards the cheese to score.

Hi Betty,

Regarding to your example, you can use multiple timelines and key stroke to make a mouse moving towards the cheese.
Please do the following:
Step 1: Add 4 new timelines to mouse object > access the Animations tab > select Lines motion path then adjust its direction.
Take a look at this tutorial to know more about using multiple timelines.

Step 2: Insert a keystroke > in the Properties pane > General section > Add Value.

Refer to this article to get more details.

Step 3: Set actions and conditions for On Key Press event.
