# Licence on my new laptop

I purchase Active presenter 8 but recently i buy a new laptop and my licence key not working?  
Please help?

Hi,

You need to deactivate the license on the old machine to reuse it on your new one.

If you don’t have access to the old machine anymore then you can manage the activations yourself using the portal at:
