# Importing PowerPoint

Am I the only person having problems importing PowerPoint presentations into 10.6:

- Imports with bounding boxes (lines) around each item… including text
- Messes with all formatting
- It takes just as long to rewrite it completely, as opposed to correcting everything.

Am I doing anything wrong, or is it just not good at importing PowerPoint?

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I’m using a MacBook Pro if that helps

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble importing your PowerPoint presentation.

Could you please send us the PowerPoint file so we can investigate the issue? A screenshot or short video showing the imported result would also be very helpful.
