I’m used to doing this with my video-editor, but not sure if it can be done with Active presenter.
Say I create a new project, 1280x720, and I want to display an image which is 1280x1440, but I want it to slide upwards at a speed that I choose and I’d like to set a duration as well. How would I go about doing that?

You can use motion path to move the picture upward and set duration for it as you want.
Just open the Animations tab to add a motion path.
