Image fill transparency / opacity in AP7

Hello,
I can’t seem to find a way to make an image fill more or less transparent in AP7 - I’m trying to reproduce the Opacity setting of AP6… which I could change for a button with image fill when there was some text underneath.
Is there a way to do this directly in AP7 or do I need to have different images with various transparency levels?

I saw the setting exists on Images but not on buttons and images don’t give the “Pause presentation to wait until user …” option.

Hi,

You can do the following trick:

  • Insert an image and go to Properties > Size & Properties > Image.
  • Set its transparency level.
  • Right-click the image and select Export To File (use the PNG format).
  • Use the exported image for button.
