How crop my webcam?

Problem: My external webcam is showing too much background behind me when I am recording my screen and webcam at the same time. I have too much empty space behind me in my webcam. Is it possible to crop my webcam after I have recorded my presentation before I save it?

ActivePresenter version: Version 8

OS: Windows 10

Hi @RussellSwann,

Just want to inform you you can directly crop your webcam into ActivePresenter now.
The image/video Crop feature is available from ActivePresenter 9.
Further, the latest version allows you to reshape your cropped image/video or crop your image/video to any built-in shapes.
Please try selecting your image/video and do either of the following:

  • Access the Format tab > Crop or Crop to Shape
  • Right-click it > Crop or Crop to Shape
  • Access the Properties pane > Size & Properties tab > Crop
