# Horizontal sequence

Hi,

My team is using the sequence question type a lot to create ‘unscramble the sentence’ type of questions. We also provide training in AP. That’s how we found out that it is not at all obvious how you can use the sequence in horizontal layout. I think it would be very helpful to add a special icon in the toolbar for it. Adding some samples on the Start page would also help!

Hi Koen,

Thank you for your nice idea. We’ll consider doing this feature if we receive more requests from users.  
At this time, you can customize the setting manually by selecting the answer area \> **Properties** pane \> **Size & Properties** tab \> **Container Layout** section \> enter a suitable value at the **Number of Column**.  
You can also adjust this setting in the **Object Settings** tab \> save it as the custom theme and reuse it later.
