Problem: I’m not sure how to achieve this in ActivePresenter, more familiar to Storyline.
I want to hide a video and have it auto play when button pressed. I don’t want my student to be able to not watch or skip the video.
ActivePresenter Version: 7.5.1
OS: Windows 10

Hi,
Please follow the below steps:
- Right-click the video and select the Initially Hidden option.
- Go to the Properties pane, in the Video section, make sure that the Autoplay option is selected.
- Select the button that you want to control the video, then go to Properties > Interactivity > Events & Actions to add an action to show the video.
Regards,
Will give it a go and let you know if that worked.
Thanks for quick reply
WORKS GREAT but how do I make it hide again at end of the video.

Just add an Hide Object action to somewhere (a button for example).
Please read tutorials at https://atomisystems.com/activepresenter/tutorials/
Regards,
So not automatic hide. Storyline has this feature. But Thanks for the assist.

I forgot to mention, there is a Hide After option when adding the Show Object action. Have you taken a look at this?

Will check it out. Thanks
