GPU Usage for converting video

Hello, does ActivePresenter make use of available GPU cores to process or convert video?

Tthat way the output can be generated sooner and with more efficient manner.

Hi Rakesh,

ActivePresenter uses GPU for the following cases:

  • Decoding H264, H265 video.
  • Rendering and converting.
  • Encoding H264, H265 video.
    The third case is not enabled by default. You can select it in ActivePresenter > Preferences > Miscellaneous > Video Encoder. Please note that not all GPUs are supported, ActivePresenter automatically checks and adds the supported ones into the list.
