Problem: Generated text-to-speech file contains no audio stream

ActivePresenter version: Pro Edition Version 10.6.1 - 64-bit. (Released: 2026.09.22)

OS: Windows 11 Enterprise

Notes:

I’m using ActivePresenter Pro Edition Version 10.6.1 - 64-bit. (Released: 2026.09.22) and I’m getting this error which I’ve not encountered previously

A while ago I installed a Windows Natural Voices package/modification module that allow me to access the Natural voice and it’s work fine so far until the issue above

The Natural voice Sonia works on other slide and the problem seems intermittent - I was updating a video that had Hazels voice replacing it with Sonia and most of the changes work OK - but the odd slide - and in this case a new slide generated the error message Generated text-to-speech file contains no audio stream

I even created a new presentation and I’m having the same issue - is this some this to do with the upgrade to 10.6.1?

Hi,

Could you please let us know what voice package or modification module you installed?

After installing it on Windows, is the voice automatically recognized as a SAPI voice, or are you using it as an AI voice through a custom provider?

Please also reproduce the issue and send us the `ActivePresenter.log` file. You can find it by going to **File \> Preferences \> Miscellaneous \> View Log**.

BR,

Hi Atomi

Thanks for getting back so quickly.

I installed the NaturalVoiceSAPIAdapter several months ago and have been using the Sonia (Natural Voice) in ActivePresenter successful since installation. I’d previously used one of Microsoft sols SAPI voice Hazel – I’ve managed to update/replace several presentations to the new natural voice Sonia with no issues

I’ve attached the log file – Slide 21 is one of the slide I’m having problems with.

Hi,

Thank you for providing the log file.

Could you please send us the ActivePresenter project containing the affected slide? To reduce the file size, please keep Slide 21 and any other slides where the issue occurs, and delete the slides that are not relevant.

Please email the project file to [support@atomisystems.com](mailto:support@atomisystems.com) so we can investigate it further.

Best regards,

Hi Tom,

Thank you for sending the project. We have checked it and confirmed that this issue is not caused by ActivePresenter.

The project is using the **Sonia Online** voice, rather than the Sonia voice installed locally on Windows. When the Sonia Online voice is called, the request is rejected with the following error:
`Invalid HTTP status`

We also tested the voice outside ActivePresenter and received the same error. Therefore, the issue appears to be related to NaturalVoiceSAPIAdapter, or Microsoft may have changed or restricted access to this online voice.

The locally installed Sonia voice still works correctly. For now, please use the local Sonia voice instead, or contact the NaturalVoiceSAPIAdapter developer for further assistance with the online voice.

Regards,
