Function "Play over Multiple Slides" - Issue with Output in Chrome and Edge

Hi guys,
I’m having a problem with the HTML5 output whenever I use the “Play Over Multiple Slides” function. The behavior is as follows: If I want to navigate from one slide to the next using the forward key or the table of contents, the presentation always starts from the beginning, the navigation to the corresponding slide is not possible.

This issue only affects Chrome and Edge browsers, NOT Firefox or Safari.
When I start the presentation locally, everything works as expected but as soon as I put the HTML5 package on our website, the described issue occurs.

Even some “older” presentations, which were running without any issues on our servers are affected since 3 to 4 weeks. So maybe something changed with the browser related HTML5 video player?

  • The project and (its external data folder named in the format PROJECT_FILE_files if any)
  • The HTML5 link on your website.
