Failure saving screen capture video

Problem:
ActivePresenter fails when ending screen recording with “could not open recorded video…” dialog. I have 300GB of available disk space.

This is really frustrating when I’m recording something very important and I don’t find out until its too late that the recording failed.

ActivePresenter version: 9.0.3

OS: Windows 11 Pro, 22H2

We have checked the log file you sent.
In this case, you can take a look at the cached folder at C:\Users<user_name>\Documents\ActivePresenter.ActivePresenterCachedProjects.
Kindly note that “.ActivePresenterCachedProjects” is a hidden folder so you might need to turn the “Show Hidden Files” option on to see it.

If you find your video here, you can copy it to another folder and open them with ActivePresenter for editing. If not, unfortunately, there is no way to recover it.

Please also update your version to 9.0.7 to see how it goes the next time you record.
