Export crashes with new laptop/graphics card

Problem: I moved to a new laptop. My project that used to export with no problems now crashes every time I try to export it, usually when the progress bar shows 10%-20%. Changing to “Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering” as suggested in another support thread is a successful workaround.

Hi,

Kindly inform us whether this issue is occurring across projects or only with a particular one.
In case it just occurs with a specific project, please send it with its external data folder named in the PROJECT_FILE_files (if any) to support@atomisystems.com so that we can check it.
See the detailed steps here: How to Send Projects with External Data Folders - ActivePresenter 8 - YouTube
If the files are large, you can upload them to a cloud storage site like Google Drive and email us the download link.
Before that, please reduce your project file size by shrinking it to delete all unused resources. (ActivePresenter > Project > Shrink).

In addition, you can try selecting the Always use software decoders for decoding video option instead of the Use software rendering instead of GPU rendering option, then export the project again to see if it works better.

Looking forward to your follow-up.
Regards,
Thuy
