Error "can't open file" and "could not write data"

Hi, I cannot record my screen suddenly. I get the following errors:

2021-05-20 14:27:20: can’t open file ‘C:\Users\Admin\Documents\ActivePresenter.ActivePresenterCachedProjects\Untitled_tempdir\video_20210520_14-27-19.mkv’ (error 5: Access is denied.)
2021-05-20 14:27:20: Could not write data to C:\Users\Admin\Documents\ActivePresenter.ActivePresenterCachedProjects\Untitled_tempdir.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi Mike,

Some users reported that the problem came from antivirus software like Avast.
It wrongly blocked ActivePresenter from accessing some locations on their computer.
We are contacting them to fix this problem on their side.
In the meantime, please add ActivePresenter into the allowed list of the antivirus software if any.
