I made a video with ActivePresenter and tried to embed to my website using the <iframe> element, but it didn’t work. Instead of playing the video, the browser just downloaded it and didn’t play it at all. The src of the iframe was: ‘http://localhost/codecenter/assets/lesson_videos/test.approj’

I cannot access the link but it seems that you embedded the project file (*.approj) instead of the video.
Please open the Export tab > Video to export your project to video format, then upload it to a website or Youtube, and get the embedded link.
