I have a problem I can’t understand to solve it…
I created some projects with Drag-n-Drop questions.
Everything works great on the PC!
While on the iPad and cell phone “drag” is almost never accepted.
Only after dozens of attempts the object is accepted.
And then it doesn’t even load the final video that acts as Correct-feedback.
If you can help me I would be immensely grateful, because I’m going crazy…
I hope I’ve explained myself well, sorry for the English translation…
Thank you very much
Thank you for your answer Thunt…
I looked for the folder with external data named “PROJECT_FILE_files”, on my Mac, but I couldn’t find it.
When I create a project… I only see the file(.approj)
And also the folder of HTML5 files that I have to upload to the web.
We’ve checked your project and see that it works in both ipad and cell phone.
When you drop a drag source into a drop target, you must put your finger onto the drop target not the text.
Besides, you should increase the size of the objects in order to work well on cell phone.
Good morning to you!
But at the end of the exercise you also uploaded the final video? Because to me it is never loaded!
Thank you very much for your answer, I will try your advice.
Regards
Issue 1: “drag is almost never accepted” on iOS: Please remove the play audio actions in the On Drag Start events to resolve the issue. The audio buffering seems to be too slow on iOS which leads to the problem. We will try to address this in the next update.
Issue 2: Final video doesn’t run: Please add a Start button in the first slide and let user click it to start the content. Mobile browsers require user interactions for playing audio (and video with audio) but iOS seems not work well if it is a drag interaction, clicking on a button should work.
Thank you very much for your time and for getting to the bottom of my problem.
I will take steps to make the necessary changes to all the projects I had already made.
You have been really precious to me! Thank you very much!
Regards
