Customize Index page

Hi There, another new user question,

Is it possible (without writing HTML or CSS code) to easily customize the index page and share the new index page with all of the members of my team? I would like to just change the background color and add a company logo to the top right hand corner. I would also like to get rid of the Author, Copyright, and Homepage fields.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to do this without writing some HTML code.
