If you put a content place holder inside a flexbox when editing in Slide Master view, when you come out of slide master view and insert the layout. You can no longer click the content placeholder to place any content, it converts to a static unchangable box.

Hi,

You should insert a Flex Box placeholder (not a normal Flex Box control) then drag the Content placeholder into it.
