Can't get sound to record on video on MacOS

Problem:
Trying to record video from computer screen and can not get the sound to record on MacOS

ActivePresenter Version:
7- just updated latest version

OS:
High Sierra 10.13.6

Notes: I found an article on “Record System Audio on macOS with ActivePresenter” that was updated December 7, 2018. I downloaded Background Music from the site and followed all the directions & still can not get the sound to record. Can someone give me step by step instructions to verify I am set-up correctly for both ActivePresenter as well as settings on my MacBook Pro? Any help is appreciated! Thank you!!!

It works fine in our test. The audio is recorded.

Please make sure that you have started Background Music by clicking Launchpad > Background Music.
