Cannot access the recording

Problem: After pressing the stop button on a 3h+ recording, no video file appeared in the editor. What to do in order to gain access to the video as it is very important for me?

ActivePresenter version: 8.1.1

OS: Windows 10



Could you please take a look at the cached folder ( C:\Users\Username\Documents\ActivePresenter.ActivePresenterCachedProjects ) to see if there are any audio/ video files?
Please kindly note that “.ActivePresenterCachedProjects” is a hidden folder so you might need to turn “ Show Hidden Files ” option to see it.

If there are video files here, you can copy them to another folder and open with ActivePresenter for editing.
