Camera not switching off while screen recording

Problem:
Recently got updated to Active Presenter 8.5. After this update, Screen recorder doesn’t work as the camera is always on. Tried switching off camera by clicking webcam off button on Record Video Project screen, the camera switch of for a second and getting ON again immediately and it remains. So during entire recording only own camera is visible. Unable to disable.

In earlier version never faced this issue and request urgent help.

ActivePresenter version: 8.5.0 - 64-bit build.

OS: Windows 10 Home Single Language, Version : 21H2 OS Build : 19044.1826

Hi Prem,

Could you kindly try updating our latest version ActivePresenter 8.5.8 first and check if the problem still persists?

If it does, please send us the log of your project to our so we can check further.
To view the log:

  • On Start Page, click Preferences (the Gear icon)
  • Select Miscellaneous.
  • Click View Log.

You can follow the guiding steps through this video:
