Button that is initially hidden (triggered by an event) no longer has the option to Pause presentation to wait for user input

Problem: Button that is initially hidden (triggered by an event) no longer has the option to Pause presentation to wait for user input. Can you please provide a workaround?

ActivePresenter version: Version 8.5.7 - 64-bit build. (Released: 2022.05.16)

OS: Windows

Notes:

Hi,

The Pause presentation to wait for user input feature is not available for the buttons that have been initially hidden and then shown again.
It just supports the button which displays on the main timeline.
You can try using the Pause Presentation action to achieve what you want.

Have a nice day,
Thuy

Thanks. How do I do that? I can only see the Pause presentation to wait for user input option in the button settings on support material.

Hi,

First of all, please refer to pages 230-236 (Adding Events - Actions) in the User Manual of the ActivePresenter current version.
This will bring you a detailed understanding of events-actions in the app.
Then, you can find out helpful information about the Pause Presentation action on page 239.

Also, take a look at this quick video for a clear illustration about using events - actions in ActivePresenter.

Regards,
Thuy
