Problem:
Después de estar grabando con la Opción “Grabar simulación de software” me encontré con la sorpresa de que todos los archivos que se encontraban en una carpeta “c:/backup”, así como las que se encontraban en las sub-carpetas, fueron totalmente borradas. No consigo recuperar los archivos con ningún software. En los mismos No aparecen los archivos que fueron borrados para poder recuperarlos
Esto me está creando un gran perjuicio al desaparecer una gran cantidad de archivos sumamente importantes para mi
ActivePresenter version: 8.5.0 - 64-bit
Esto me pasó en 2 computadores al ser realizada la misma tarea!!!
Could you please share the log of ActivePresenter?
To view the log, in Start Page, click Preferences (the Gear icon) > Miscellaneous > View Log.
Then, you can save the log file and send to us.
New users cannot upload the files here.
That’s to prevent spammers who just register new accounts to post spam.
Those limitations will automatically be removed once you interact enough with the community.
Regarding the email you sent, I checked in Spam but still couldn’t find it, unfortunately.
Could you please upload them somewhere, for example, Google Drive? Then share with us the link and the permission (if any)?
We have checked but there is nothing wrong in the log files. We also revise our code and see the program only deletes a folder or all its sub files in the following case:
The temporary file locations in C:\Users\<user_name>\AppData\Roaming\ActivePresenter.
The project resource folders which is ended with _files.
The locations of the HTML5 outputs.
So, it seems there is no case that the program can delete all files in C:/Backup except exporting HTML5 to that folder.
Can you reproduce the issue again with Recording Software simulation?
I see that the C:/Backup location is sometimes used by some applications or installers as a temporary location. Is there any chance that it is cleared by other processes?

Les compartí 2 Print Screen del Explorador de Windows donde les muestro que los únicos archivos que no fueron borrados de la carpeta “C:/Backup” y subcarpetas son los que fueron justamente creados en el momento del problema por el ActivePresenter.
Esto tal vez les de alguna pista del problema.
De cualquier manera, lo que necesito es que me digan con que Software podría analizar el disco duro para recuperar los archivos que son borrados por el ActivePresenter.
Los programas que usé no encuentran nada. Es como si no existieron nunca. Es lo único que se me ocurre que pueda hacer.

Unfortunately, we could not find any clue from the screenshots. Can you please try searching in the entire C: drive and the Recycle Bin (using the Search file tool on Windows). When I use mouse or touch pad, sometimes the files were moved to another location accidentally.
