Audio resource metadata (like Author, Album etc.)

Hi, is there any possibility to use audio file metadate inside APPROJ?
Typical use for me should be author (speaker). I mean: Same name of the audio resource, but another speaker. Possibilty to look into resource list and see this resource property (= “audio is spoken by: …”)

I am using .flac files - so if there is a way to utilize its existing metadata when importing.

Long time no see, Tomas. Hope that you’re doing well.
From your description, I understand that you want to identify the author or speaker of the audio resource.
If so, it is possible to do that in ActivePresenter. Here’s how:

  1. Import your audio files into ActivePresenter.
  2. Navigate to the Resources pane > right-click the audio file that you want to customize its name > Properties.
  3. Enter more information into the Name section of the pop-up dialog > OK.
    By doing so, you will be able to associate the speaker’s name with the corresponding audio resource and easily identify and track the different speakers within your project.
