My App crashes when I try to record the screen or video. I see the countdown timer for a millisecond and then it closes. I am using the Pro version.

Kindly take note that when you select Full Screen mode and press the Record button to start recording, ActivePresenter will countdown from 3 to 1, then it will hide itself to record all actions on the screen.To stop recording, please press CTRL+ END (for Windows) or ⌥⌘2 (for macOS).
In case a crash happens, please fill in your email address if you see the crash report and send it to us.
Also, please send us the log file so we can check? To view the log:
- In Start Page , click Preferences (the Gear icon)
- Select Miscellaneous .
- Click View Log

Thanks for your reply. I am aware of the countdown and it only showed for a very brief second. It did not countdown from 3 to 1. It disappeared and the app crashed. I did not get a “crash report”. I am aware of Ctrl-End but the app never launches and there is no recording.

Can you see the crash reporting dialog appears after crashing? If yes, please fill your email in and click Report so that we can know the bug is reported from you.
Beside, please selecting standard recording dimensions ( 1920x1080, 1280x720,…) to see if the issue happens or not.
