When you open the Advance Actions menu, it doesn’t matter which side of the window you grab, it won’t resize.
Very inconvenient when working on small laptops.

OK, I was wrong here. The issue is a little different than I thought. The window does resize, but it doesn’t allow you to shrink it very much. The minimum width of the window is very large.
