I can’t figure out how to make a URL link in my PPT file a clickable link in the final video.

You can add a hyperlink to the text to make it clickable. To do that, please select the text, then open the Home tab, and click the Insert Hyperlink button.
You should note that video output formats don’t support interactivity due to their nature. You may need to use HTML5 output instead.

Please can you add an option to select slide number as well when hyperlinking? It will be a great feature to have.
Now, we have to apply link to shape or text caption. Selected keywords to link to slides will be great help.
