ActivePresenter performance & CPU/GPU requirements

Hi!
I’m using ActivePresenter to record elearning videos.

I recently switched to 4k resolution, impacting the overall usability and performance of the software.

Do you have any specific recommendation on which CPU/GPU for laptop I should use?

Is there any specific optimization on ActivePresenter for AMD Ryzen / Intel Iris or discrete graphics card ?

Hi Arnaud,

ActivePresenter 8 doesn’t use GPU hardware acceleration extensively so it doesn’t work smoothly with 4K resolution videos. We plan to release version 9 in February or March which addresses the issue.
There is no specific optimization but the stronger GPU, the better performance.
