Problem:
Once I choose full screen, no audio for a software simulation recording project, and hit the red button… nothing happens No recording at all.
ActivePresenter Version: 6.1.4 and 7.00
OS: Windows 10

I have reinstalled the software without success
Your question title says “ActivePresenter crashes” while the problem description is “nothing happens”, so what does that mean?
Does it crash or you just didn’t notice any things that happen?
What is the error message?
No error message. Just fade away
I say crashes because it doesn’t do anything.
No recording and no control
If you wait and later you hit Ctrl+End, also nothing happens
Any suggestions to make a better diagnostic?
After clicking Record button, can you look for the ActivePresenter icon in the system tray? Is it there? Can you click it to stop recording instead of pressing Ctrl + End?
There is no Active Presenter icon after you click the record button

Please share the full log at: %APPDATA%\ActivePresenter. Just copy and paste that in the address bar of Windows Explorer and press Enter. The log file is ActivePresenter.log in the opening folder.

Do you use any antivirus software? If yes, please try adding ActivePresenter to its whitelist. And what is the operating system of your computer?
