2 question slides feedback layers don't work properly

Your two question on one slide interaction is awesome. The issue I have is with the feedback layers. When you get one question correct and the other incorrect it shows the correct and incorrect feedback layers and it is impossible for the user to know what question was correct and what question was incorrect. Is it possible to put the feedback layers on top of the questions so the user could see the correct feedback on top of the question that was correct and the incorrect feedback on top of the question that is incorrect/incomplete etc. There has to be a way for the user to identify what they still need to fix on slides where they have multiple options. It could also be an option for the question to be counted correct if both sections are correct and incorrect if any of the two questions are wrong. Either way it would be good for the creator to have the option. Currently I can’t use the functionality because there is not way to make a distinction and if we give them multiple attempts at the question such as 3, if they get one question correct and the other wrong on the first attempt it is very confusing and make the wonderful option of two question interaction, not really user friendly.

If each question has a corresponding set of feedback, are you then able to position the feedback such that it is clear to which question the feedback applies?

With a little creativity - you could also design your own feedback to display with each question based on some of your own user variables.

Sky is the limit.

Hello,

There are several ways to customize the two-question feedback on a slide. Please refer to the attached sample for more details.

  • The first slide demonstrates the scenario where the entire question is marked correct only if both parts are answered correctly, and incorrect if either part is wrong.
  • The next slide illustrates the approach where feedback layers are positioned directly over each question, allowing users to clearly see which part was answered correctly and which part needs improvement.

Hope this helps!

Hang,

The second slide is perfect!!! How do I apply that setting to all two slide operation. Such as if I selected a hotspot and a true/false, or a multiple select and and multiple choice. Thank you so much this is exactly what I was looking for!

Hi,

Each question type has its own characteristics, so be sure to add the appropriate variables to each slide. Alternatively, you can reset a slide to its default state by adjusting the variables in the On Load event, making it reusable.
